Why Reach Out?
If someone you know is struggling with their mental health, reaching out to check in can make a difference.
Find someone you are comfortable to talk with. Many people are learning about mental health and can be a good resource – whether it’s a family member, a friend, a mental health professional, an online resource, or community group. The earlier you talk, the easier it is to find help.
Talking about your mental health can be uncomfortable, embarrassing or awkward, but you may be surprised that you are not alone. Opening up about to someone can help you find out how others have found help.
When you’re struggling with your mental health, reaching out to others helps.
